1. Reduce the coal blending rate before ceasing fire. The fuel can be fully burned when the kiln is shut down. Avoid waste.

When we seal the lime kiln production line, if the air is suddenly stopped to cool down, it is easy to cause the blocks to stick together, or the blocks and the kiln wall to stick together, affecting the normal operation after the re opening. Therefore, a few days before sealing the lime kiln production line, there should be a process to reduce the coal blending rate, so as to ensure that the lime kiln is sealed without sticking and nodulation. The reduction of coal blending rate shall be determined according to the number of days of closing the kiln and the calcination conditions of the kiln (such as raw burning and over burning). Generally, it can be reduced to 3%~5%. Then, the mixture with reduced coal blending rate is used to replace the materials in the high temperature layer, so as to reduce the temperature and make the temperature of materials in the kiln lower than the temperature of sticking to the kiln.

The increased coal blending rate can vary from 1% to 5% depending on the number of kiln closing days (up to 1-2 months). The coal blending rate should be increased less if the number of kiln closing days is less, and the coal blending rate should be increased more if the number of kiln closing days is more, which should be determined according to the actual situation. After the kiln is shut down and unsealed, the coal blending rate can be gradually restored to the value specified for normal operation.

3. Seal the kiln, stop the kiln for a long time after ceasing fire, and seal the kiln with crushed stone

After sealing the kiln, try to load a few trucks of crushed stone properly. Use lime surface to tamp the crushed stone to seal the material surface, so that the kiln can be sealed without air leakage. After sealing the kiln, go to the top of the kiln for observation intermittently within half a month, because the inside of the kiln may become loose, the material surface may collapse, and there may be air leakage.

4. If the kiln is stopped for a long time for cease-fire, the lime in the kiln should be unloaded to form a controlled kiln. In the cease-fire, the limestone in the kiln should be prevented from being connected into blocks and causing difficulties in ignition and calcination.
