Introduction to carbide slag (calcium hydroxide) drying and calcination combination system:

Calcium carbide slag is the sediment (industrial waste residue) generated after hydrolysis of calcium carbide (CaC2) in the production process of industrial products such as acetylene gas, polyvinyl chloride, polyvinyl alcohol, etc. The main component is Ca (OH) 2. Calcium carbide slag is one of the industrial wastes difficult to dispose. Shenyang Dongda Dongke Drying and Calcination Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. has been engaged in the research and design of drying, calcination and heat source equipment since 1990. In recent years, the company has been mainly engaged in the comprehensive application of calcium carbide slag, and is committed to the research of process and equipment, and the design of special equipment suitable for the process. Product introduction:

The flash boiling calcination process is a new calcination process of calcium carbide slag. Calcium carbide slag becomes powder after drying, and then enters the twinkling fluidized bed calciner to generate calcium oxide after 28 seconds of high-temperature decomposition. Because the calcination is fast and uniform in heat transfer, there is no raw burning and over burning of calcined materials, and the calcination temperature can be accurately controlled, it is an advanced process for producing active calcium oxide. The system is mainly composed of preheating flash dryer, flash boiling calciner, catcher, heat source, etc.

Working principle:

The material carbide slag is sent into the dryer by the feeder for drying. The waste heat gas produced by the calcination decomposition furnace decomposing carbide slag is used as the drying heat source. After drying, the carbide slag is sent into the calcination furnace for calcination. After decomposition, the calcium oxide is discharged from the discharge port.

Performance characteristics:

1. Carbide slag drying process system

The carbide slag is mechanically dehydrated, and its moisture content is generally about 28~35%. As carbide slag is a light waste slag with high moisture content, it is difficult to dry, so the following technical problems need to be solved: feeding and blocking prevention; Stacking and blocking are easy to occur after falling into the dryer; After carbide slag is dried, the dust concentration in the waste gas is high, and the dust collection equipment is easy to be stuck and corroded; When calcium carbide slag is dried, the shortcomings of low evaporation rate and large moisture content need to be overcome. Flash dryer, shaftless feeder and anti-corrosion materials are used to solve the above problems.

2. Comprehensive process system for carbide slag drying and calcination

Requirements for calcination conditions: direct fire heating in gas generator

Calcination inlet temperature: 1000 ° C~1050 ° C

Calcination outlet temperature: 900 ° C~950 ° C

Output of calcium oxide: t/h

Product loss on ignition: 24%

Technical requirements for equipment of the calcination combined system During the calcination process, the material temperature shall be maintained at 950~1030 ° C for no less than 4 seconds.

Initial water content of carbide slag: ≤ 20%

Moisture content after drying: 1-2%

Drying temperature: 450 °~550 ° C

Calcium carbide slag composition: calcium hydroxide 56~60% calcium carbonate, calcium bicarbonate 5% silicon aluminum, etc. 35%

Design product quality standard: Ca (OH) 2 content ≥ 85%

Water content: 1% ~ 1.5%

Particle size: ≤ 50 μ m(270)

Specific surface area: 15 ~ 20m2 / g
