Dolomite calcination
Dolomite is a carbonate mineral, including iron dolomite and manganese dolomite. Its crystal structure is like calcite, often rhombohedral. When cold, dilute hydrochloric acid will slowly bubble. Some dolomite gives orange light under cathode ray irradiation. Dolomite is the main mineral composition of dolomite and dolomitic limestone. Dolomite can be used in building materials, ceramics, glass and refractory materials, chemical industry, agriculture, environmental protection, energy conservation and other fields. Mainly used as basic refractory and flux for blast furnace ironmaking; Production of calcium magnesium phosphate fertilizer and preparation of magnesium sulfate; And ingredients for glass and ceramics production.
Dolomite is produced in Dashiqiao and Haicheng, Liaoning Province in northeast China due to its rich resources and numerous manufacturers. However, most of the dolomite is directly fired by coal or water gas in vertical kilns. The production process is relatively backward, and the quality is difficult to guarantee.
However, the new dolomite calcination process developed by our company and professors of Northeast University is the process of first grinding and then dynamic calcination:
1. First grinding effectively increases the specific surface area of dolomite powder in contact with high-temperature gas during calcination, so that it can be heated evenly and calcined fully. According to their experiment, it can fully improve the active content of magnesium oxide. It provides quality assurance for magnesite products.
2. The dynamic calcination process of coal gas and powder jet calcination is adopted. The temperature is easy to control and can be adjusted between 700-900 ℃, so that the calcination temperature can be selected and the whole process of calcination can be completed in an instant. The disadvantages of under burning and over burning are overcome, and the product quality is ensured.
In a word, the quality system of light burned magnesia should start from the source and optimize and improve the calcination production process. Only with high-quality light burned magnesia can the quality of magnesite products be stable. Effectively restrain the warping deformation of magnesite products.
The heat source can be used according to the existing conditions and requirements of your company. The wet flotation material is about 200 meshes, and the filter cake dehydrated by filter pressing contains about 25% water. The dried powder enters the powder dryer and then enters the calciner. The calcined tail gas is supplied to the dryer.
This is a set of drying and calcining combined system, which makes full use of energy, has a high degree of automation, meets the environmental standards, and has advanced technology and won national patents.
Introduction to dolomite calciner:
The calcined materials are uniform without raw burning and over burning, and the calcination temperature can be accurately controlled.
Powdered or mud cake materials are delivered by the feeder. In the dryer or preheating, the waste heat air produced by calcining calciner decomposing dolomite is used as the above drying heat source. The dried dolomite is delivered to the calciner for calcination, and the decomposed magnesium oxide (light calcined powder) is discharged from the discharge port.
